Conditions for entry into the Schengen area
The following criteria apply for entry into the Schengen area:
Persons must hold a valid document permitting him to cross the border.

This document must contain a valid visa, if necessary, e.g. a transit visa, a travel visa, a temporary residence permit, a return visa or valid residence permit issued by one of the Schengen countries.

Aliens must have resources sufficient to pay the cost of their stay in the Netherlands and of their journey to a place outside the Netherlands where their entry is guaranteed.

Persons may not represent a danger to public policy or national security.
