• Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND)
• Royal Marechaussee

The Rotterdam-Rijnmond Seaport Police is responsible for
border control in the Port of Rotterdam, including
Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Maassluis, Stellendam, Rozenburg, Hellevoetsluis, Capelle a/d IJssel, Krimpen a/d IJssel, Slikkerveer, Ridderkerk, the Europoort area and the Botlek area.

The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), in consultation with the
Department of Justice, is responsible for the policy on the subject of border control.
Both the Royal Marechaussee and the Rotterdam-Rijnmond Seaport Police are accountable to the Immigration and Naturalisation Service for border control

The Royal Marechaussee is responsible for border control in the Netherlands on all airports and in all seaports, except the Port of Rotterdam.
