Extra service for seafarers
Aliens requiring a visa who wish to extend their stay in the Netherlands must renew their visas in time.
Seafarers residing in the Rotterdam-Rijnmond area can renew their visas at the Visa Renewals and Conversions Department of the Seaport Police.
To renew their visas, seafarers should apply to the Rotterdam-havens border crossing point, at St. Jobsweg 6, Rotterdam, to make an appointment.
Applications can be dealt with only on working days (Mondays to Fridays) from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
To speed up the procedure, seafarers should bring the following documents for the issuance of the renewal:
